Ingredients;
5 - 8 Chicken Thighs
Seasonings of choice
1 Medium Onion
4 Tbsp of All-Purpose Flour
4 Tbsp of Unsalted Butter
Water
Directions
1. Add chicken to a pot with enough water to just cover the chicken.
2. Add seasonings, butter and onion and cover with lid. Let cook for 30 minutes on high heat.
3. After 30 minutes, check for taste and adjust seasoning if need be.
4. Cover and let cook an additional 30 minutes.
5. Make a slurry using 4 tablespoons of flour and 1/3 cup of water. Add slurry to the pot and mix in well. Add more water if needed.
6. Cover and bring to a boil, then lower heat to medium and allow to cook an additional 20 -30 minutes until gravy has thickened to your liking.
7. Once gravy has reached your desired thickness, remove from heat and serve hot over rice, mashed potatoes or pasta. Enjoy!
