Port work on the 272. If you are building a stock saw you can largely skip this part. The formula on this build is an exhaust of 103, 123, intake 78. base gasket delete, squish aimed for around .020" , though I think we ended up slightly tighter at the end.
if you have machine tools, .030" off the squish band is even better, and then set your squish accordingly.
less is more with the transfers here.
