Bipolar Disorder Vs Borderline Personality Disorder: It’s easy to tell the difference

This may be one of the most common questions I get, and I find people really struggle with the distinction between these two disorders. Some say BP disorder is over diagnosed and others say BPD is over diagnosed and the person will usually state the opposite disorder is the one that should have been diagnosed. Keeping with the theme of moving away from antiquated DSM-5 terminology and concepts, what I’m going to say here is completely different than what you may have learned elsewhere.
