Over the 30th April to 2nd May the Didcot Railway Centre held their steam gala.
This year theme is celebrates the 175th Anniversary of the opening of the Great Western Railway.
The gala had five steam locomotives in action including two visiting locos joining three of the railway centre home fleet.

British Railways Western Region 9400 class 'Large Pannier' tank No.9466(recently return to steam after overhaul and visiting from the Buckinghamshire Railway Centre)

Great Western Railway 6000' King' class No.6023 "King Edward ll"
