Absolutely brutal conditions at Uckfield parkrun today. The “feels like” temperature dipped to around -6°C, the paths were iced over, and the ground was so solid it could’ve doubled as concrete. The mission was simple: survive the course without snapping an ankle.
Uckfield is normally a gorgeous, friendly parkrun… but winter turned it into a full‑body stability test. Frozen ruts, sketchy corners, and every footstep needing laser‑precision. Character building doesn’t even begin to cover it.
So be honest — would you still show up for parkrun in conditions like this, or do you have more sense than I do?
