In this episode we continue our Tasmanian adventure, exploring the historic coastal town of Stanley in the state's North West. We base ourselves at the Stanley RV Camp, a fantastic low-cost camping spot within walking distance of the town’s top attractions.
🚐 What We Experienced in Stanley:
✅ Penguin Watching – Each night, little penguins return from a long day of fishing along the coastline near town. Armed with our red lights, we set out for an up-close look at these adorable creatures.
✅ Dip Falls – A stunning geological wonder featuring unique hexagonal basalt formations that create one of the most spectacular waterfalls in Tasmania.
✅ The Nut – The town’s most iconic landmark! Our original plan was to hike up The Nut and take the chairlift down, but with wild weather rolling in, we decided to take the chairlift both ways—totally worth it for the breath-taking views!
Stanley is absolutely worth a few days visit, enjoy. 😊
