BEFORE THE BOARD OF OIL, GAS AND MINING
DEPARTMENT OF NATURAL RESOURCES
IN AND FOR THE STATE OF UTAH
A public meeting will be held on Wednesday, August 24, 2022 at 9:00 a.m. in the auditorium of the Department of Natural Resources, 1594 West North Temple, Salt Lake City, Utah.
The meeting will be streamed live on the Department of Natural Resources YouTube channel.
The Division of Oil, Gas and Mining will conduct a Briefing Session at 9:00 a.m.:
1. In Situ Oil Sands Development in Uintah County, Utah

The Board will hear the following Matters at or around 10:00 a.m.:
1. Docket No. 2022-012 Cause No. 997-01 – In the Matter of Formal Rulemaking to Amend the Oil and Gas Program Rules Pertaining to the definition of Oil and Crude Oil for Tar Sand Operations Resulting from Senate Bill 146.
(The rule was published in the Utah State Bulletin on July 15, 2022. The public comment period closed on August 14, 2022. The Division will ask the Board to adopt the rules as submitted to the Office of Administrative Rules.)
2. Docket No. 2022-018 Cause No. 132-05 – In the matter of the Request for Agency Action of Ovintiv USA Inc. for an order pooling all interests, including the compulsory pooling of the interests of certain non-consenting owners in the Woolf 1-12 4-4-12-11-7H Well, in the drilling unit established for the production of oil, gas and associated hydrocarbons from the Lower Green River-Wasatch Formations comprised of all of Sections 11 and 12, Township 4 South, Range 4 West, U.S.M., Duchesne County, Utah.

One or more members of the Board may participate electronically pursuant to R641-100-600. The specified meeting location would serve as the anchor location for participation by the public.
