In this video, I tackle the kitchen floor repair on my 40-year-old Prout Snowgoose 37 catamaran. Water infiltration from a hatch with a faulty rubber seal caused parts of the plywood floor to rot. I removed the damaged wood and replaced it with new 18 mm plywood, coated and glued with epoxy filler (Epidermix). With a solid floor, the next steps will be sanding the entire floor and kitchen cupboards for a fresh paint job. Stay tuned for more updates on this restoration journey, as I turn my catamaran into a perfect blend of sailing adventure and on-water camping.
