If you want to see a maximum range test then watch Dustin Dunhill's review. I just want to show you why FCC mode is a must-have.
I've said this many times, I'm not too phased about absolute range, I just want quality signal back to my device/goggles as that is probably the biggest safety improvement you can do.
Better signal not only makes flying safer but also increase confidence.
