Via Dolorosa | Jerusalem Video-tour

With David Hyman - professional tour guide. Via Dolorosa - in Latin = way of the sorrows , is the path that Jesus walked on his final hours of Good Friday. The exact route of this path is not agreed by all scholars, as there is a dispute mainly on where was Pilat's seat during the trial. The path we are walking on this tour, is the one used in the past 300 years, and was created by the Franciscan order, and walked by millions of pilgrims throughout the years. The path is walked as a procession, stopping at each station for prayers and for meditation. I have also added a few sites that can be visited along the path, if you have the time and energy, such as the Lithostrotos, the Ecce Homo arch and St Helena's water cistern.

This video only covers the 9 stations that are outside of the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. In order to complete the station, please check the other video I have recorded in the church and the 5 stations that are within.
