'Give me the chance' by Love, Life & Loss

We all make mistakes in life. Unfortunately, that is part of being human.
A good person will learn from those mistakes and try not to repeat that mistake and to learn from it.
We are taught to forgive others and see the best in people.

In the quiet of the evening, as the daylight fades away,
I walk a path of kindness, though my own heart sways.
I reach out with my open hands, to lift those feeling low,
Shadows touch my spirit, more than you might know.

I’m trying, oh I’m trying, to be a guiding light,
Though sometimes I stumble, lost in my own night.

Give me the chance to redeem myself, (and live life in harmony)
A heart that sometimes loses its way.
I’m more than just my battles, more than what you see,
