TAP Air Portugal is the main airline in Portugal and operated by 3 different airlines: 66 TAP own aircraft, 13 Portugalia aircraft and 9 White aircraft.

Together, they make up a fleet of 88 aircraft, including Airbus A319, A320 and A321; Airbus A330 (version 200 and 300); Airbus A340-300; ATR 72 and 42 (operated by White); and Embraers 190/195 (operated by Portugalia).

Thus, we can see that TAP is responsible for long-distance flights as well as those that have more demand in the short and medium range; White, operating ATR, is responsible for the direct connection ("Ponte Aerea") with Oporto as well as short-radius connections throughout the peninsula; while Portugalia serves destinations throughout Europe with a demand that is not enough to operate the A32X family efficiently.
