TVS-CT Rail & Amtrak: Berlin During Morning Peak

Today we visit CT Rail's Hartford Line where we fan Berlin Station. Berlin CT, actually located in Kensington, is a very rural commuter station with a LARGE parking lot. Ridership here isn't the best but also not bad. This is the first stop South of Hartford after most of the line north of here runs along the CT fastTrak busway. There are plans to add a station at Newington and Flatbush Avenue in the future. Train service on the Hartford Line during rush hour is typically every 45 minutes (yeah weird schedule) with trains alternating between CT Rail equipment and Amtrak Shuttle equipment.
