International Spy Museum Full Tour | BETRAYED While Undercover As a Spy! | Washington, DC

Join us on an undercover mission at Washington DC's renowned International Spy Museum! Centrally located near the National Mall and monuments (though not a part of the Smithsonian Museums), the Spy Museum is the place to go for all things espionage. Think, spy history and craft, real-life spy stories, and countless artifacts from real-life and the movies (hint: James Bond, 007)! You can even try your hand at your very own undercover mission, complete with backstory and covert identity to see if you have what it takes to be a spy.

Not only does the museum highlight famous (or should we say infamous) spies from throughout history, but it dives deep into the tricks needed to successfully undertake a covert operation. Plus, it covers how analysts crack codes to gather information and how decision-makes use intelligence for different objectives.

Spying and espionage has been around just about as long as people have been on Earth and the museum covers just as much history. Join us as we start with the Trojan Horse and Greeks before jumping to Genghis Khan and the stealthy ninjas. And turning to US history, we can't overlook the role of espionage in George Washington's Culper Ring.

But the best part of the museum? The undercover mission that crosses each exhibit and puts your new spy knowledge to the test. You start in Headquarters' Briefing Center by assuming a new identity and backstory before getting a unique mission. Can we successfully complete our mission undetected? You are just going to have to watch to find out.

The Spy Museum recommends 2-3 hours to fully explore the museum, but take it from us that you will definitely need the day. There is so much to see and do that you can easily spend 4-5 hours or more. Join us on a covert tour of the International Spy Museum!
