Modern Warfare 2 Remastered Multiplayer (HorizonMW/H2M)

HorizonMW is the team actively developing the H2M project after they were C&D on August 15, 2024. Immediately following the C&D, the H2M files were leaked and spread amongst Discord, GitHub, and various file sharing sites. Obviously, this was not the vision that the original developers had in mind, as much of the distribution of their mod was clouded in hysteria. Completely unqualified individuals spread misinformation (either knowingly or not) about the files containing malware.

This situation was one of the driving factors that influenced the HorizonMW team’s decision to make the mod open-source. This also serves as a method to ensure that the mod cannot be taken down by Activision. Once something reaches the internet, it’s impossible to totally remove it.

To address other problems/concerns that people had: The server browser actually works now and you should not encounter the "kicked for privileged user" anymore (plus it no longer kicks you out after the end of each game). Unlock all users have been reset and some servers do not allow people with unlock all to play on their server.

CURRENTLY, THE ONLY OFFICIAL METHOD OF DOWNLOADING THE MOD IS THROUGH THE HorizonMW DISCORD.
