Working the return leg of Saphos Trains' "The Bath Christmas Market" from Bath Spa to Three Bridges via the South Coast, B1 no 61306 'Mayflower' would be joined by Standard Class 8 no 71000 'Duke of Gloucester' for a rare mainline doubleheader on Friday 12th December 2025
Filming during the nocturnal hours we see the 2 engines steaming through Fishergate after a stop at Shoreham-on-Sea followed by another passing shot at Wivelsfield on the Brighton Mainline as 71000 and the Class 47 on the rear seem to be working their hardest
Following an unplanned waterstop at Gatwick Airport having not collected enough at Preston Park 61306 & 71000 are finally seen passing Horley on the empty stock move back to Southall, this time the Class 47 on the back providing the lions share of the work now running nearly 90 minutes late
