She Said No—And Her MIL’s Response? Jaw-Dropping

She set a boundary — calmly and respectfully.

But the MIL took that boundary as a personal attack and escalated it into a full-blown crisis.

And here’s the part that gets me — can you imagine calling your child on their birthday, after the hardest year of their life, and instead of celebrating them… you make it all about you?

That’s how emotionally immature people operate. They can’t step outside of their own emotions long enough to consider someone else’s experience.

It’s been two years since this happened here MIL still won’t talk to her and actually gets mad if her grandson brings up his mom’s name during a FaceTime call.

How truly sad.
