In this clip we see one of Great Western Railway's Class 165 2 car Turbo units (165119) working the shuttle service between Maidenhead and Marlow, known affectiontly as the Marlow Donkey, at Bourne End. Firstly we see the unit arrive from Maidenhead on 2B38 for Marlow, reversing and departing from platform 1 for Marlow. Secondly, the unit is seen arriving back at Bourne End from Marlow as 2B39 heading for Maidenhead.
Platform 2 at Bourne End only sees use during the peak times where the service runs between Maidenhead & Bourne End and between Bourne End & Marlow, this allows a more intenstive service to run with Bourne End serving as the 'passing place'.
