For the past seven years, Tim has been shaping the culture at Ridgeline Elementary in Highland, Utah. His leadership style is rooted in relationships, connection, and truly seeing every student who walks through the doors.

What makes Tim stand out is his belief that schools should feel like family. Students thrive when they feel valued, supported, and understood — and that message drives everything he does.

Before becoming a principal, Tim worked with students who had significant needs. That experience shaped his philosophy: every child deserves a place where adults meet them exactly where they are.

Under his leadership, Ridgeline has become known for its positivity, its strong community, and its focus on belonging. Colleagues describe him as approachable, uplifting, and energetic — the kind of leader who brings out the best in everyone around him.

This year, Tim’s work was recognized statewide when he earned both Alpine School District’s Principal of the Year and the Utah Administrator of the Year award. These honors celebrate not just his achievements, but the culture he has built, the students he serves, and the staff he supports every single day.
