How to Create Dashed Style Background Color in Bar Chart in Chart JS

In this video we will explore how to create dashed style background color in bar chart in chart js. Adding a dashed style background color is not possible by default. However Chart.js gives us the option to use gradient colors and we can become more creative to solve this.

To do this we will need to use a callback function to allow the background color to be recalculated based on chart height. From that point on we can assign a nice dashed background color in a bar chart.
