大阪の建築家、一級建築士事務所アトリエｍの守谷です。
大阪の市街地、25坪の敷地に建つ、軒が深いから「おいでよ House」のルームツアーです。
ルームツアーでは、暮らしが始まった住宅を動画でご案内します。

「新しいお家が出来たら、今はお呼ばれしているお友達を是非招きたい。そんなお友達を家の前で、傘を差したまま待たせるのは嫌なんです」

奥様からこの話を聞いた時、この計画の幹となるコンセプトにするべきだと考えました。
自身が生まれ育った兵庫県中部に位置する街では、玄関に軒や庇が無い住宅など無かったのだと思います。市街地で暮らすようになり、そのことに気づき、言葉にできるところが凄いと思ったのです。

敷地は大阪市内の住宅地。間口5ｍ程の敷地で、北側にまずは駐車場を確保。残った細長い空間に、エントランスと階段を配置しました。そして、敷地境界ぎりぎりまで、1ｍ程ある軒をＬ字に張り出しました。

1階には3つの個室。2階の南側にＬＤＫを配置し、9畳程あるロフトを設けています。天井高は4ｍ以上あり、面積以上の解放感を与えてくれるはず。
大きなロフトは遊び場としてかなり期待していますが、キッチンとコンタクトしやすい位置にもこだわりました。

ロフト下には天井高を抑えられる、浴室など水廻りを集中させました。洗濯物乾燥機も備え、家事動線が短くなるよう配慮しています。

北側道路に面したスタディコーナーは、コンパクトな方が集中できるのではと考えた空間。コロナ下の社会ではオンライン授業が増え、より価値が増すかもしれません。

コンセプトとは出来上がった建物を説明するためにあるものではありません。生物にとってのＤＮＡのようなもので、この建物が存在する理由の根幹にほかならなりません。

何度聞いてもよい響きなのです。

1996年、25歳の時に生まれ育った大阪に設計事務所を設立しましした。関西を中心に、注文住宅、クリニック、店舗、オフィス、保育園と、直接依頼頂いたクライアントに約100件の作品を持たせて頂きました。
形態も新築、リノベーション、コンバージョンと様々。 物づくりの現場より面白い所を私は知りません。
住まい手の夢をかなえるのが、建築家の役目だと思っています。

The eaves of the house are so deep that you can't leave your loved ones waiting under an umbrella.
"When we get a new house, we would like to invite our friends who are not invited at the moment. When we get a new house, we'd like to invite our friends over, but we don't want to make them wait in front of the house under an umbrella.

When I heard this from the wife, I knew I had to make it the core concept of this project.

In the city where I was born and raised in central Hyogo Prefecture, there was no such thing as a house without eaves or shelter at the entrance. When I came to live in the city, I noticed this and thought it was amazing that I could put it into words.

The site is a residential area in Osaka City. The site has a frontage of about 5 meters, with a parking lot on the north side. The entrance and stairs were placed in the remaining long and narrow space. The eaves of the house extend to the very edge of the site boundary in an L-shape with a height of about 1 meter.

The LDK is located on the south side of the second floor, with a loft of about 9 tatami mats. The ceiling height is more than 4 meters, which should give a sense of freedom that exceeds the area.
The large loft is expected to be a great playground, but we also wanted to make it easy to access the kitchen.

Under the loft, the ceiling height can be reduced, and the bathroom and other water-related facilities are concentrated. A laundry dryer is also installed to shorten the flow of household chores.

The study corner facing the road on the north side is a space where we thought it would be easier to concentrate in a compact space. It may become more valuable as online classes increase in the society under Corona.

A concept is not something to explain a finished building. It is like the DNA of a living organism, and is the basis of why this building exists.

It sounds good no matter how many times I hear it.

In 1996, at the age of 25, I established a design office in Osaka, where I was born and raised. I have worked on about 100 projects for direct clients in the Kansai area, including custom homes, clinics, stores, offices, and nurseries.I don't know of any place more interesting than the field of manufacturing.
