Atlanta Man Testifies About Finding 'Asleep' Shymel Drinks Shot Dead

Kevin Cheesborough is an Atlanta citizen who found a man shot dead in a car at an intersection on March 14, 2022.
The man was Shymel Drinks, and his murder is the basis for the some of the 191 overt acts in the RICO conspiracy charge brought against rapper Young Thug and his codefendants. Young Thug pleaded guilty and no contest to his charges last week (no contest basically just exists to make defendants feel better about pleading guilty), and two defendants remain: Deamonte "Yak Gotti" Kendrick and Shannon Stillwell.
Kendrick is charged with the 2015 murder of Donovan Thomas as well as racketeering conspiracy. Stillwell is charged with Thomas' murder as well as Drinks' murder.
