Demetrius Johnson is an officer with the Atlanta Police Department. He testified in Shannon Stillwell's and Deamonte Kendrick's YSL gang racketeering conspiracy trial in Fulton County Superior Court about finding Shymel Drinks shot dead in a car on March 14, 2022.
Drinks' murder is the basis for some of the 191 overt acts supporting the RICO conspiracy charge against Stillwell and Kendrick. Stillwell also is charged with murder for Drinks' death.
