This is a virtual tour of the 136 year old traditional Kerala style Illam or house located near Ananthapura in Kasaragod. This house was originally located in a place called Eriya and later relocated to its current location. The house was built by a family intending to stay there but due to some issues in Vasthu, they decided not to. This is currently privately owned by a company and is a tourist spot. A few popular Malayalam movies were shot at this location including Mohanlal starrer Vadakkumnathan, Jayasurya starrer IDI and Nivin Pauly starrer Kayamkulam Kochunni. The entry fee is 10 Rs per person. Photography will be charged an additional fee.
