In this woodturning video I create "The Beauty of honey". A functional honey pot in the shape of an old fashioned beehive. I use Laurel, Maple, African Black Wood and Rose Wood with some epoxy resin. This attempts to create the effect of honey pouring down the outside of the pot. There is a glass inside for the honey and the piece is coated with a high gloss finish using numerous layers of automotive lacquer. I hope you enjoy the video and thank you for your time.
