In this video, my journey begins at Komodo International Airport, from where I take a short flight to Ende, on the eastern side of Flores Island, Indonesia. After landing, I rent a car with a driver and start my road trip toward the west.

The day begins beautifully with a hearty breakfast and a quick stop at a scenic viewpoint before heading to Detusoko rice fields — a stunning green paradise where I enjoyed coffee at a small café surrounded by nature. Locals even came up to take photos with me — such warm and lovely people! 💚

Next, I visit Wologai Traditional Village, an 800-year-old hidden gem that belongs to the Lio tribe. Walking through this ancient village felt like stepping back in time — the traditional houses, ancestral symbols, and stories of the people made it truly special.

As the evening approached, I headed to Moni, a small town near Kelimutu Volcano, where I planned to see the famous three-colored lakes the next morning. But before resting, I realized it was going to be freezing cold next morning— so my driver Richard kindly drove me 10 km away to Wolowaru to buy a warm jacket. 😅

We ended the night with a delicious dinner and live music at the restaurant — the perfect way to close such an incredible day.
