Let's explore the Aliabad Bazaar in Central Hunza Valley!

Aliabad is the business and economic hub of Hunza and is where you'll find all the area's banks, franchises, and stores that sell virtually any item you can imagine.

Watch Fareed and I have some local Hunza food for breakfast, try to buy local cheese (called buruz in Burushaski, the local language), and find sneakers and trekking spikes from two iconic shops here in Pakistan's most picturesque mountain mini-city.

You'll also get a feel for the vibe and look of our main market (bazaar) which of course is still somehow scenic as it's surrounded by numerous peaks of the Karakoram Range.

Not many travel vloggers in Pakistan stop in Aliabad, but as it's not touristy at all, you'll get to see what Hunza looks like beyond the famous hotspots of neighboring Karimabad.
