Retired agricultural worker here. While I was busy becoming a musician I was also working at hay farms, vineyards, orchards and a cattle ranch. I watched Farm Aid 40 the other night. I paused it right in the middle to stop to write this song. Willie Nelson sat in with my band in 1977. I stand with him, everyone involved in Farm Aid, and with family farms everywhere. I hope you like this song. I’ve stopped writing so many songs in order to concentrate on my best ones. My lyrics are in the pinned comment.
