Palak and Corn Pulao
Ingredients:
Bastami rice boiled 4 cups
Spinach leaves 1 bunch
Ghee 3 tbsp
Cumin seeds : 1 tsp
Black pepper corns : 4 to 5
Cloves : 3 to 4
Star anise : 1
Cinnamon : 1 ich
Bay leaf : 1
Chopped garlic : 1 tbsp
Green chillies 2 nos
Onions chopped 2 medium size
Carrot chopped 1/4th
Boiled Green peas 1/4th cup
Boiled sweet corn 1/4th cup
Salt as per taste
Method
Add ghee to a thick bottom vessel
Add cumin seeds first then add all whole spices add chopped garlic and saute
Add chopped onion diced carrots green peas and boiled corn saute for 2 min add salt to taste
Then add spinach , palak puree and mix well
Cover the lid and let it cook for 2 min
Then add boiled basmati rice and mix it lightly
Cover it lid and let it all cook together only for 5 min
Garnish it with fried cashewnuts
And Serve hot
