Used Original Key Renew and Programming for BMW F and G-Series! (Complete Step-by-Step Guide)

Hello, y'all!

Today I am going to show you the latest functionality for second-hand key renewal (original keys) and programming for BMW F and G Series vehicles, equipped with BDC02 modules. This BMW F90 M Performance came today and I wanted to shoot a video with it to show you how to reuse keys and save time, money, and efforts.

The procedure requires at least one working key. These are the steps to get the job done in a few stages:

Stage 1:
1. Disconnect the car battery
2. Take the BDC02 module out of the car
3. Dismantle the BDC02 module down to its PCB
4. Connect to the PCB using the ZN095 BDC02 connection cable
5. Read and save the NCD coding to files
6. Load all the files back to the BDC02 module.

Stage 2:
Now, we get to the key renewal part on bench:
1. Get the used key and dismantle it to reveal its PCB.
2. Open the ABProg menu and find the wiring diagram for the respective key generation, in this case, it's gen2. Keep in mind, you need a used original key for this procedure.
3. Connect ABProg to the PCB as shown in the diagram and press "Program".
4. When ready, put the key back together.

Stage 3:
Then, we go to the car and program the renewed used key:
1. Reassemble the BDC02 module and reinstall it back in the car.
2. Reconnect the car battery.
3. Connect AVDI to the car and laptop, and Protag to your laptop.
4. Start Key & Start Synchronization procedure for BDC02.
5. Put the working key in Protag.
6. When prompted, put the renewed key in Protag and wait for it to be written.
7. To learn the key to the car, place it on the ring aerial of the antenna, press ignition on and wait for about 30 seconds.


And that's all. Make sure you have all the necessary tools before you start. The BN020 license is a must in terms of software! Keep your AMS active and nothing can stop you!
