📍Vancouver Island isn’t a place you simply visit; it’s a place that pulls you in and slows you down in the best way possible. This video is an ode to the place that when people ask where we’re from - we still say ‘The Island’. We had the privilege of embarking on some pretty incredible adventures while living here, however two years is basically just enough to scratch the surface. There are roads and backcountry routes that still occupy our minds on a daily basis. It’s wild, remote, and still one of the last ‘untamed’ places on earth. This is Vancouver Island!

We’re Kyle, Alannah, and the star of the show, Diesel. It was 2022, and one cold, February morning back in Ontario, Canada, where we’re originally from, we conjured up the idea of starting a Youtube channel… we were about to pack up our lives and travel across the country, so we figured, why not?!
After making it all the way to Tuktoyuktuk Canada in our SUV, we eventually, just barely, made it all the way back south to our new home on Vancouver Island. The island is where we first cut our teeth filming videos for Youtube, It’s where we learned how to tell stories with a camera and capture the feeling of a place. SO you may notice a slight difference in the production value of these videos 😁
