🛂 WHAT IS ETIAS?

ETIAS stands for European Travel Information and Authorisation System.

It is not a visa.
It’s a pre-travel authorisation required for travellers from visa-free countries entering the Schengen Area for short stays (up to 90 days in any 180-day period).

Once introduced, travellers will need to:
• Apply online before travelling
• Provide passport details
• Answer security questions
• Pay a small fee
• Receive approval before flying

The authorisation would be valid for multiple trips over several years, but without it, airlines would be required to deny boarding.

⏳ ETIAS DELAYED AGAIN – NOW 2027

Schengen includes most EU countries, but not all:
