This part covers the trip from Basin Bridge till Vijayawada. The trip report of the complete Chennai-Howrah trip is here - https://www.irfca.org/apps/trip_repor... . It was fun to experience this section in daylight with plenty of crossings - Ganga Kaveri Exp., Tamilnadu Exp., Lucknow-Chennai Exp., Krishna Exp. and quite a few freights (hauled by WAG5HA/WAGD/WAG7). Be sure to enjoy the following:
Skips of Sullurupeta, Nayudupeta, Nellore, Bitragunta, Kavali, Ongole, Chirala, Bapatla, Tenali
Halts at Gudur (unscheduled) and Ongole
Krishna river crossing
Loco parade at Vijayawada shed
