This is the fourth video in a five-part series on water distribution system Flushing using WaterCAD and WaterGEMS. Dr. Tom Walski uses the powerful Flushing tool in WaterGEMS to demonstrate unidirectional flushing events where valves can be closed and one or more hydrants opened, for better control over flushing solids.
Note that this video demonstrates WaterCAD/WaterGEMS V8i SELECTseries 6. The latest version includes some enhancements to flushing, which you can read about below.
