GAZM - Dirty Beach

I don't remember Gazm. Like, at all. I have a bad tendency of droppin' shit in my library and never purposefully listening to them. It's not so much that I didn't like their stuff or find it particularly memorable, it's just that I'm losing control of my life and don't know what I'm doing anymore. Y'know, the usual. But anyways, Gazm. I came across this tape while I was shufflin' through it a few days ago, and I'm kinda beatin' myself up for not listening to them sooner.

Gazm is a freak-squad hailing from Montreal, Québec. I found myself to be completely entranced by their lo-fi, vehement sounds. Strained hyena-like vocals accompanied by sharp-ass guitar, revitalizing basslines, and drumming suitable only for the most spastic of mongoloids. A fantastic followup to their demo that dropped earlier this year, so be sure to give these unhinged bad boys a listen.
