January doesn’t ease in quietly, it shows up with numbers, intentions, and a lot of reality checks.
In this mid month money check in, I’m sharing what I made in the first two weeks of January, where that money actually went, and how I’m thinking about the rest of the month ahead. No projections, no perfection , just real numbers and honest decisions.
And because life never fits neatly into a spreadsheet, the second half of this video is a little life lately: my experience selling on Whatnot, what I’ve been reading, unexpected moments in the city (including a TV show filming outside my daughter’s school), and the small things that made this stretch feel lighter.
I’m learning that rebuilding your finances isn’t just about discipline, it’s about staying present, finding momentum where you are, and letting progress look human.
