I know salads can be an afterthought with most meals, but this apple walnut winter salad is made with a lot of intention. It's filled with crisp apple pieces, walnuts, chewy dried cherries, gorgonzola, and salty bacon, all dressed with my favorite citrus dressing, which adds bright pops of sweet orange flavor to the salad. It's my favorite winter salad and one that my family and relatives always rave about!
