We travelled from Slovenia to Croatia, taking in Ljubljana, the Disney-esque Lake Bled, and Vintgar Gorge.
Then, it was on to Croatia to see Zagreb and the picturesque waterfalls at Rastoke.
We finished up in Split and on the beautiful island of Bol.
This epic journey was actually to celebrate my sister rebecca’s 50th birthday.
It was initially pitched as an interrailing trip, but we never got on a train; we were driven the whole way.
Our cousin Adele and her husband Maury even flew over from New York to join us!
