We’ve loaded up the haulers and taken the 2025 iRacing ARCA tour to Iowa, landing at the 2011 legacy Iowa Speedway. How we traveled back to 2011 is a mystery, but since we’re here, maybe I’ll check out Bitcoin—though that’s beside the point. Today’s focus is on testing, getting comfortable with the track, and prepping for the upcoming SOF Monday night ARCA race. I tend to struggle on 1.5-mile tracks, so I’m eager to figure out my strengths and weaknesses. We’ll set up a 40-lap AI race and talk through it to see if I have the speed to tackle the real event. Hopefully this 2011 version of a younger me will handle it well—time to find out.
