Storms Above & Sharks Below: Rescue Mission in a Squall 🌧️

We sail from the stunning island of Moorea to Raiatea—only to be greeted by nonstop squalls, pouring rain, and a wild series of events. Just as the weather hits hard, one of our friends needs help entering the marina without one of their motors. Before we can tow them in, we discover they’re stuck on a mooring… and after nearly an hour of troubleshooting, Malwina dives in to save the day; freeing the bridle wrapped around the mooring ball.

With everyone drenched anyway, we help them into the marina safely, but not before getting hit with some serious sticker shock: $100 for two small propane tanks! French Polynesia doesn’t mess around with prices.

As storms keep rolling through, we take shelter onboard—until Angela, Malwina's good friend invites her to escape below the surface on a long-overdue scuba dive. We encounter sharks, trigger fish, and a rainbow of reef life. Connor gets the boat back in order (his own way, of course), and we finally learn to crack coconuts for tomorrow’s land adventures.
