I'm not a gunsmith, but I watch a lot of videos and have a machinist in the family and like to try new things. This turned out really well so I thought I'd share it...
In this video I use my machine shop to build a specialized fixture for the lathe. This fixture is designed to hold items in perfect alignment with the axis of the the lathe. One example for a use of this fixture is to cut, crown, and thread a gun barrel which I demonstrate. At the end of the video I test fire several firearms in a controlled environment of a private gun range. The magazine used in the 10/22 is made by HCMAGS and holds up to 25 rounds and is my go-to for quick loading and range shooting.
