How to remove an NP420 transmission from a 1967 Dodge Power Wagon WM300.
Late-model Dodge Power Wagons (as well as military versions like the Dodge M37) were equipped with New Process NP420 transmissions. These are a partially-synchronized transmission with straight-cut gears for an unsynchronized 1st and 2nd gear and then a synchro for 3rd/4th. This video shows the easiest way I've found to pull the transmission for a rebuild, which is relatively straightforward and fairly easy if you know how to do it.
