Shred the Red! Tour of Redhead MTB Park, My Local Trails! - Fractured Falls, Orange Crush + More!

Redhead MTB Park is my local trail system and I am very fortunate to have these trails next door to ride! Redhead is built on the remains of several reclaimed iron mines from the early days of mining on the Iron Range, and offers some incredible riding unlike anywhere else in the Midwest and beyond! There are tons of exposed iron red bedrock formations to ride, and the overlooks and views of the pit lakes are incredible! There are a good mix of trails at Redhead, and while the majority are very XC oriented, there are a few rowdier downhill trails that I usually ride such as Orange Crush, Fractured Falls, Roller Derby, and Rinse. Redhead MTB Park has also recently been approved for a 2 million dollar expansion, so I am very excited to see how this place expands even more, I'm hoping there's some black and double-black diamond rated downhill trails planned here on this amazing terrain! Redhead should absolutely be on your Minnesota must-ride list!
