🧵 We’re so happy to welcome Kristin Peterson (@alteredstatesstudio) to the Making Zen Online Retreat!

Kristin is a third generation artist, originally from South Dakota. She is always exploring and expanding the creative depths of being an artist, which includes stitching and sewing. Kristin comes from a long line of artists and seamstresses. She got her first sewing machine when she was 5 years old — a small Holly Hobby crank machine — and was mad when she realised the machine didn't come with a pedal.

Her workshop, “The Art of the Tiny Treasure: Create a Stitched Amulet Necklace”, teaches you how to create a scrappy stitched amulet necklace with thoughtful choices in fabric, thread, and sari ribbon.
