Western Field EMN 175

Next up, the Western Field Model EMN 175 made by Marlin (as the Model 55 Hunter) as a “store brand” model for Montgomery Ward between 1955 and 1958. This is a 12 Gauge bolt action shotgun with a 28'' fixed full choke barrel, a 2 3/4'' chamber, and a 2 round detachable box magazine.

Come along as we check out its history, its patent and design origins, and shoot a round at the trap range. We follow up with a patterning session which was very useful in determining why our scores were lower than what we normally shoot.
