Gujarati Bohra Hara Lasan Keema Anday Wala | Green Garlic Mince with Eggs | Winter Special
Experience the authentic taste of Gujarati Bohra cuisine with this flavorful Hara Lasan Keema Anday Wala — a rich, aromatic winter dish made from minced meat (keema), fresh green garlic (hara lasan), and eggs (anday) cooked together in ghee.
This traditional Dawoodi Bohra-style recipe is especially popular during winter for its strong aroma, rich taste, and immune-boosting properties. Perfect for breakfast, lunch, or dinner with paratha or pav!
Ingredients:
• 500g minced meat (beef, mutton, or chicken)
• 1 cup fresh green garlic, chopped
• 4–5 eggs
• 2–3 tbsp ghee or oil
• 1 onion, finely chopped
• 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
• Salt to taste
• ½ tsp turmeric powder
• 1 tsp red chili powder
• Fresh coriander for garnish
Cooking Method:
1️⃣ Heat ghee and fry onion till golden.
2️⃣ Add keema, salt, turmeric & chili powder. Cook till browned.
3️⃣ Add green garlic, sauté till aroma releases.
4️⃣ Crack eggs over the keema, cover & cook till set.
5️⃣ Garnish with coriander and serve hot with roti or paratha.
