Winter Special Easy & Quick Lauki ka Halwa | Kaddu ka Halwa Recipe | Healthy Dessert | AKK


Warm up your winter with this rich, creamy, and healthy lauki ka halwa (kaddu ka halwa) — a classic Indian dessert made from bottle gourd, milk, ghee, and dry fruits. Perfect for cold nights and festive occasions!

Ingredients:
• 2 cups grated lauki (bottle gourd)
• 2 cups full-fat milk
• 3 tbsp ghee
• ½ cup sugar (or to taste)
• ¼ tsp cardamom powder (elaichi)
• 2 tbsp khoya (optional for rich texture)
• Chopped almonds, pistachios for garnish

Steps:
1️⃣ Heat ghee and sauté grated lauki for 5–6 minutes.
2️⃣ Add milk and cook until soft and reduced.
3️⃣ Add sugar and cardamom, stir till halwa thickens.
4️⃣ Mix khoya (optional), cook 2–3 minutes more.
5️⃣ Garnish with nuts and serve warm.
