How to Work with Anger Nonviolently

When memories hijack us in the present moment and bring up anger, we have a lot of opportunities for working with the memory and associated feelings. If the resurfaced anger is overwhelming or intense to the point of physiological indicators, we likely had an incomplete fight-or-flight response when the event occurred. We can use a variety of resources to help metabolize these stuck feelings instead of converting them into aggression.
