प्रवीण महाजन यांच्या पत्नी आणि पंकजा मुंडे यांच्या मामी सारंगी महाजन यांनी आपल्याच भाचीवर आरोप केले. या आरोपांनंतर एकच खळबळ उडाली. गोपीनाथ मुंडेंचे वारसदार कोण, या प्रश्नावरुन झालेले हे आरोप थेट प्रमोद महाजनांच्या हत्येपर्यंत जाऊन पोहोचले आणि सारंगी महाजन यांनी प्रमोद महाजनांबद्दल सुद्धा एक वक्तव्य केलं. हे सगळं होत असतानाच प्रमोद महाजनांचे धाकटे बंधू प्रकाश महाजन यांनीही यात उडी घेतली. आपल्या भाचीची पाठराखण करताना त्यांनी प्रवीण आणि सारंगी महाजनांवर खळबळजनक आरोप केले.

पण सारंगी महाजन यांनी पंकजा मुंडेंबाबत असं वक्तव्य का केलं, हा प्रश्न जेव्हा त्यांना विचारण्यात आला, तेव्हा त्यांनी मुंडेंच्या साक्षीचा मुद्दा समोर आणला. गोपीनाथ मुंडे यांनी प्रवीण महाजन यांच्या विरोधात साक्ष दिली होती. त्या क्षणापासून एक वैर पेटलं, आणि आज जी बदनामी, ही त्याच वैराची सावली आहे, असं प्रकाश महाजन यांनी म्हटलं. या सगळ्यानंत पहिल्यांदाच मुंडेंच्या साक्षीचा मुद्दा चर्चेत आलाय. गोपीनाथ मुंडेंनी प्रवीण महाजन यांच्याविरोधात कोर्टात काय सांगितलं होतं आणि त्यांच्या साक्षीवर प्रवीण महाजनांच्या वकिलांनी आक्षेप का घेतला होता, पाहुयात या व्हिडिओमधून.
