A customer hired me to scan the cockpit of a retired Boeing 747 -400 plane. The overall area was scanned by using Otter in large mode (no markers), it tracks very well in this mode. The detail scanning was done by both Otter small mode (no markers) and Raptor blue laser mode (with markers).
Here's some tips using the scanner with the gaming laptop.
When the battery is lowered to a certain level, some gaming laptop will clock down to save energy. I had to connect the laptop to 200W PD power bank, and it only last for 1 hour.
Raptor won't even run when laptop battery is low, so try to connect to AC outlet or PD power bank if you can.
